Lagos, Nigeria, 1994 – I still shudder whenever I remember it. I had no idea that the the right side of the concrete divide was a dual carriageway. The logical thing would have been to cross the road after checking the expected traffic from the right. Somehow, I looked a little to the left and saw a bus suddenly race past.
It is now clear to me that my looking to the left was no coincidence. God directed my eyes, to preserve and allow me appreciate Him more.
