SON SHINE 3: THE LATE CALLER
The night service ended some 20 minutes earlier and she met just three of us in the pastor?s office. That was three months ago. Her English was impeccable, but coming alone, the last thing she cared about that night was what anyone in that room thought of her. She was stranded and needed some money to get home.
Although she got just enough, her gratitude turned emotional, as she wept her way into the solemn night, recounting as she went, how she found herself in this pass – her husband was killed during a crisis in another city a few years ago, leaving her with children and a daily burden.
Are you also hurting, telling yourself things would have been different, if ??
?Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning? ? Psalm 30: 5
