SON SHINE 665: WHEELED
As she swung the wheelchair, its occupant’s face lit up, as she lifted a clenched right fist. It was an inner joy that was too deep to find obvious expression. As many others returned to their seats from the
altar, some dancing, many others sat watching. The crippled middle-aged woman was alive and that was enough to make her roll along with the thanksgiving train. She knew that the God she chose to specially appreciate openly, is more than able to make her walk again someday.
“Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; ….Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.”– Habakkuk 3:17-18 (KJV)
