SON SHINE 7: THE QUIT NOTICE
She was a dour version of her usually upbeat polished self when she strolled into the office, settling into the couch and ensuring no one was still around before opening up. It was after 8pm. Her high profile marriage was hitting the rocks and sole responsibility for the children from a previous relationship and life outside the glamour circle starred her. It was an opportunity to talk about the love and peace of God, and Jesus the healer.
It is now six years since that night, and events in homes continue to prove that it is easier to obey God?s word no matter how ?foolish? they appear to be (as a single or married), and enjoy the beautiful institution of marriage, than cope with the pains of a distressed relationship.
?Every wise woman buildeth her house?; For every house is builded by some man?? ? Proverbs 14:1; Hebrews 3: 4 (KJV)
There is something you can still do to preserve and enjoy yours.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
