SON SHINE 717: EXTORTED

The cold nozzle of the pistol, roused him from the engaging phone conversation. He had parked by the roadside this night – as he spoke, when robbers came calling, and dispossessed him of the car.  Although it was recovered – courtesy of a tracker, that was however, the beginning of his troubles. Those who should release the car, forced him to part with a fifth of its value as settlement, after contrived delays. The trauma led to the sale of what was left of the car.
