SON SHINE 731: BANG

The car ignited with a subdued bang, as traffic slowed movement to a pause.  As the flames flared through the vents, its driver, confused by the unexpected, managed to open the bonnet, amidst the gasps, and the efforts of now roused passers-by in the morning rush. Occupants of another car which just overtook the distressed vehicle, talked excitedly about their narrow escape. It was time again to wonder how disaster picks its target, and why the safe should ever be grateful.

“For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.”  Ecclesiastes 9:12 (King James Bible)

Yes, it is grace that is seeing you through
