SON SHINE 735: DOWN

Years of waiting for a child of their own, took its toll: the wife got pregnant in another relationship, as the husband found solace in the arms of a chorister whose sonorous voice and looks, made inroads into his famished heart. The crisis in the pastor’s home crumbled the structure he laboured to build. Church membership dropped dramatically, and a loyalist whom the caring pastor offered refuge when he had no roof over his head, decided it was time to also leave.

“Now wake up! Strengthen what little remains—for even what is left is at the point of death. Your deeds are far from right in the sight of God. Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly and turn to me again…”  Revelation 3:2-3 (The Living Bible)

 Guard what you have laboured for with greater care

Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
