SON SHINE 739: BOWED
SON SHINE 739: BOWED
With dust from road construction settling on the landscape, the rough and sandy divide of the expressway was littered with a mix of iron, equipment and debris. But as the cars raced past, he sat on a concrete pillar right in the middle, with dishevelled and knotted hair, and head bowed. A piece of clothing hanged on his unwashed body, marked with patches and rough edges. No one else was anywhere near him, and his label as a mad man, left no prospect of someone coming near to lift him up. It was for him, the lonely place in the crowd.
“The Lord opens the eyes of the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the [uncompromisingly] righteous.” Psalms 146:8 (Amplified Bible)
No head remains bowed forever
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
