SON SHINE 781: SMALLER

The big bird, floating above the limitations of the humans it encased, gained altitude, with the structures that defined the settlement as a city, retaining their sizes and attraction. But as it hugged the skies, the obvious started to fade from view, turning buildings to no more than boxes, covered by rust and some shine. As the aircraft penetrated the clouds, emerging above its mystery smoke, all that mattered disappeared, leaving the passengers on this round of the journey to stare or just behold the majesty of the One who holds the ace.
