The sermon promised to be turbocharged, with the preacher pacing the altar as he commenced his message. Then his fist landed on the wooden lectern, smashing the glass top cover, as he drove home his first point. It was unintended and the sermon continued after a while. That glass top was not replaced for as long as that lectern was in use.
