SON SHINE 791: BROKEN
It was a miracle that the marriage survived the storms. Those who knew them, wondered how the man survived the daily dose of his cantankerous wife. Neighbours hoped for the ‘thriller in the villa”, when he would call her bluff and get even for once. Then the abuser woke up one midnight, and found her husband praying fervently that God would touch her heart. That was the height: she challenged his effrontery in reporting her to God, rather than fight like a man. His reply that he loved her, hit a soft spot. She broke down and started a journey, later becoming an ordained minister of the gospel.
