SON SHINE 796: COCKTAIL

It was a struggle keeping up with the timing of the cocktail of drugs, but taking them had become a routine. As she managed each moment, barely able to regain what many no longer value, the transition turned out to be an irony on the motions of living. Behind the effort was a sincere desire to continue to be useful to a world in dire need of her brand of selflessness. But the drugs could not turn the tide.

“Then went king David in, and sat before the Lord, and he said, Who am I, O Lord God? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?” 2 Samuel 7:18 (King James Bible)

What you take for granted, is the dream of many others
