It was an uncommon experience for this normally active woman. Flat on her back on the hospital bed, her dependence on a power beyond her became more obvious. As she told the congregation, being on her back enabled her to continuously look up to the hope of the hopeless, till she got her deliverance.

?Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.? ? Psalm 123: 2 (KJV)

Look up to the help of the helpless.
