The fringes of the valve of the split unit air-conditioner trunking at the rear balcony, was the haven the bird used as construction site. But the intricately woven piece of art, was thrown down after the painstaking efforts. Dislodged, the bird opted for the visible edge of the roof to start rebuilding, far from the reach of the householder. Each trip had the bird with its familiar chirp, return with a strand of dry grass, wings fluttering, using the same beak to continue the weaving. Nothing was going to stop this fowl of the air.
