He was ignored, as the venue bubbled with the energy unleashed by a gathering which only knew the language of fun. To some, he probably wasn’t sensitive to the social incorrectness of trying to preach the gospel, in an environment where youth explored a known option for breakthrough. Some paid attention, maybe to encourage him, but the same people who didn’t find value in the Word of Life, relished the refreshments he later shared.  

“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” – 1 Timothy 4:8 (King James Bible)    

It is cheaper to pay attention, when it is still a choice   

Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
