As the shot rang out, the epicentre became panic zone, with clogged traffic not offering a route of escape. By the time the next three shots punctured assumptions, street traders remembered home and family, refusing to give up the life they still hoped would offer its bounty, and opting to leave the source of their daily bread to the needy. By the time the suspect was nabbed, the wise ones were crammed in an enclosure that wasn’t obvious before then. Wisdom was in dashing for a hole, to keep the whole alive!
