She was alone this night shift, and had assumed that there were two instead of three guests. When the door opened to take the order, she went on her knees to plead for forgiveness for the error. By the time she returned with the meal, she again went on her knees, showing how much she treasured her job, before a total stranger who had once been told that those who habitually go down on their knees, gain in height.
