The breathtaking migrating formation of livestock just before Jing, Plateau State, Nigeria, proceeded slowly, led by herdsmen some as young as four years. It was a picture of harmony in variety. Goats, far from being stubborn, filed out in a linear pattern, sheep huddled together, and in spite of their sizes, the cows moved as led, making way for the occasional vehicle. The shepherd?s stick and language were all that mattered.

?My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.? ? John 10: 27 (KJV)

Even animals are subject to their shepherd.
