SON SHINE 1003: DOZED

It was dawn, but he was drowsy from the strains of work-related exertions, resting his head on the dinning chair. Others at the devotion paced the room, rattling on in prayers, spiced with songs of praise. Then he dropped from his standing position, with others rushing towards him, asking if he was alright. He scrambled to his feet groggy and sweating, and was ushered to the settee from where he sprung up shortly thereafter. It was a reminder that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
