SON SHINE 153: THE LAST DRINK

SON SHINE 153: THE LAST DRINK

SONSHINE EDITIONS

It was about 10pm and he reeked of alcohol, though looking smart in track suit. We were just two; he trying to cross to the other side, while I waited for a connecting ride. As a vehicle lit the darkness in top flight, he made the move but only got as far as the middle of the road. The bus picked and smashed him on the tar, stone dead, as hysterical passengers dispersed, bemoaning another creation wasted.

?Look not thou upon the wine when it is red?when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder? ? Proverbs 23: 31-32 (KJV)

Seek things of eternal value.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
