She was a hit even in her old age, and were she of the catwalk generation, would have had a fair share of rave reviews. But as she went well beyond the 80-year mark, succumbing to bouts of illnesses, she cared less for the mirror and what it had to show. At a point this evening and given the troubles, the voices comforting her brought her no comfort. She could hardly wait for the ultimate pain reliever.
