It was unusual for the cleaner not to empty the waste bin, and since it was late, I planned to complain to the management of the guest house the following morning. Then I reached out for an item in my luggage, having discarded a used one earlier in the day and found I made a mistake by dumping the unused one. Had the bin been emptied, it would have cost a lot more to get a replacement.
