The five-year old held on to the sausage roll for the next five hours awaiting her mother to return to give her the go-ahead despite complaining of hunger. She slept clutching the sausage roll and woke up watching the answer to her problem but refusing the easier option, choosing rather to remain the true daughter of a mother whom she knew loved her indeed.
