SON SHINE 50: WASTED
With hands stretched in expectation of money from passing motorists, he dragged and partially raised his body, weighed down by what appeared to be elephantiasis and a gaping sore on a leg badly patched with a piece of rag. The wrinkled and disheveled young man was a picture of one with an unrecoverable past and an aborted future. As we drove past, my friend told his story of one born to one of the wealthy families in town who derailed to tantrums, truancy and drugs. Even those who gave, avoided him.
?A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him.? ? Proverbs 17: 25 (KJV)
How are you raising your biological and spiritual children?
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
