SON SHINE 716: DISGUISE
SON SHINE 716: DISGUISE
His dressing would have attracted donation from the poor. In this journey to the land of intimidating antecedents, he opted for the most uncomfortable of public transportation. The fear of kidnapping was the beginning of less risky options. Even the bus conductor, scorned and scoffed, treating him like someone who could not be trusted to pay his fare. None of them knew that he had the means not only to buy the bus, but to keep the driver, conductor and other passengers comfortable for a long time to come.
“Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ… who, though he was God … laid aside his mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men.” Philippians 2:5-7 (The Living Bible)
Never disregard the potential of an unlikely source
