SON SHINE 828: WISH
SON SHINE 828: WISH
She didn’t exude the same confidence of a past, when going abroad was not just a passion, but desperation for a space in Eldorado. Something in her, echoed the emptiness at embassies, where jostling was a mild way to describe the scramble. She spoke of family members out there – in a season of uncertainty. With images and the news suffocating the most optimistic, her wish to have her entire family together, was evident. She craved a cushion for anxieties, at a time when the word “sanctuaries”, was now an example of past tense, having nothing to do with geography.
“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” – Psalms 61:2 (King James Bible)
Whoever looks up, does not see the roughness of the ground
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
