The welcoming coolness this dawn, was refreshingly different from the harsh wind of the dusty harmattan, days earlier. But as they sat round this quadrangle, with some standing close by, the demands of surviving another day – for this congregation of artisans, was more powerful than the profile of who needed their services. They were available for the bidder, not even the highest bidder.

Days are longer, when hope is an unending dream
