The clock was ticking, but the computer chose the wrong moment to hang – for uncomfortable intervals. Two frantic calls for a crucial document, went un-replied. An online form finally submitted – just an hour away, with unpredictable kilometres-long traffic, still a hurdle. Then a call on the awaited document came through, as the race to catch the flight started. A porter who had announced the closure of the check-in counter, would later reverse himself. Within 30 minutes, the suspense was over, and he dosed-off, even before take-off.
