They spared no minute when it was time to rejoice in thanksgiving despite the uncertainties of the environment. It was a different picture from the days when the terraces were always full even after an expansion project. The worshippers today knew that fellowship with God and the brethren remained a worthwhile experience and that each day represented a gift from the Almighty who indwells the praises of His children and is the only true hiding place.
