It was a battle of the back-end, with an outage minutes away from a take-off hit by unanticipated technical connection hitches. Concerted efforts from a remote location spanned days, but something wasn’t adding up: it was either the sound or freezing pictures. Delays in activating an alternative power source, created its anxieties. When initial plans appeared hamstrung, an alternative plan hatched, offering a moment of ingenuity to those who would never know the full story. The event answered questions.
