SON SHINE 342: BAIL OUT
The elderly official pointedly told his godfather of his readiness to quit, unable to meet his younger mentor?s impossible demands despite an empty treasury. It was a time when there was another people need which the official felt duty bound to meet. One of his staff proved to be the solution. She knew what her boss did not and used insider knowledge to redeem his pledge to help those who had no one else to turn to.
?And Asa cried unto the Lord his God, and said, Lord, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O Lord our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O Lord, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee? – 2 Chronicles 14:11 (KJV)
In 2011, there will be help from unlikely sources.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
