The Spirit of God prompted him to leave the location as he made a call but he somehow delayed. It was costly. In seconds a mob gathered and advanced menacingly towards him calling him a kidnapper. They beat the daylight out of him and had concluded plans to lynch him when officers of the law came. He thought relief had come but was mistaken. The uniformed men worsened his punishment, reducing him to pulp before leading him to detention.

?For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.? ? Romans 8: 14 (KJV)
