SON SHINE 746: FORLORN
SON SHINE 746: FORLORN
She sat on a stool near a heap of husk, looking lonely, with fresh maize filling the massive pot above the brim. It was Sunday morning, and the nearby bus-stop had a motley gathering, some waiting for the next vehicle to church. There was money to be made, but her disposition spoke of one desperate to survive, but probably wondering about the miserable life of an unexciting routine that yielded little, but included missing a time of fellowship with the source of true wealth.
“Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless.” Philippians 2:16 (New Living Translation Bible)
May you not labour in vain
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
